A powerful clean
We did some market research, looking for a cleaner that had the ability to be a hospital grade disinfectant, whilst still being a 100% Natural Cleaner. We couldn’t find one, so…we made our own.
Our 100% Natural Cleaner, is also a hospital grade disinfectant, which is an industry breakthrough formula. We’re proud as punch that we were able to work with some epic disruptors and innovators in the home cleaning industry to create a product that’s safe for homes and all the important people in them. We could’ve stopped there, but where’s the fun in that? (Hint: there is none).
We wanted to bring Australians a cost-effective solution to help ensure they can clean the home, at a low and affordable price. We developed our cleaner so that it can be diluted 3 ways, giving you one cost-effective cleaner that eliminates your need to purchase multiple products to clean one space.
Thankyou tips for a spotless clean
Hospital Grade Disinfectant
How-to: Spray undiluted Universal Cleaner and wipe with a damp Microfibre Cloth. Follow with a wipe-over with a dry Microfibre Cloth.
Antibacterial Household Cleaner
How-to: Dilute 1 part Universal Cleaner to 3 parts water. For a 500mL bottle that’s 125ml cleaner then fill to the top with water.
Antibacterial Floor & Window Cleaner
How-to: Dilute 1 part Universal Cleaner to 9 parts water. For a 500mL bottle, that's 50mL cleaner, or to make a 1L bucket of floor cleaner, that's 100mL of cleaner, then fill to the top with water.
Surfaces
When we said one solution for a perfect household clean, we meant it. See below for a list of surfaces you can use our one-stop-shop Universal Cleaner:
- Kitchen surfaces: think countertop, stovetop, ovens – yep, it’s completely safe to use on food preparation surfaces.
- Bathroom surfaces: tiles, toilets, benchtops, showers – our Universal Cleaner is dermatologically tested and safe for repeated incidental skin contact
- Glass, window, mirror and hard flooring cleaner – when diluted to an antibacterial floor and window cleaner, you’ve got yourself a streak-free clean.

We always recommend to patch test on a small area hidden area first, and wipe with a damp cloth afterwards.

Cleaning, but make it sustainable
Our universal cleaning range is a significant step towards a more sustainable future. We developed Thankyou Home Cleaning Forever Bottles in 100% recycled aluminium or recyclable glass, so you can have an aesthetic cleaner you won’t want to hide in the cupboard. These Forever Bottles are designed to be purchased once and kept forever. The dilution process allows you to save a considerable amount of money compared to other comparable products in the market. When diluted to household grade disinfectant, our cleaner costs $0.33 per 100mL, compared to an average of $1.05 per 100mL for other cleaners in the category. It’s even more cost-effective when diluted to antibacterial floor & window cleaner; Thankyou’s Universal Cleaner is $0.13 per 100mL, while others on the market range from $0.80 — $1.20.
As a result of dilution, this process significantly reduces waste, carbon emissions and water usage. For example, using the household-grade cleaner leads to 70% less plastic waste*.
